this is an adorable and unique novelty nautical-themed cardigan sweater that is presumably from the 1990s. the garment is untagged so origins are unknown, but it has that “vintage feel” to it and it has so many special details, such as silver anchor buttons and 3D knitted sailboat embroideres throughout! the sweater has a white knitted body with navy blue trimming, long sleeves, a low V neckline, and a six silver-button front closure. there are little knitted sailboat embroideries that are stitched to a loose knit/see through crochet at the bottom of the sweater, that is believed to evoke the ocean. the fabric of the sweater is untagged, but feels like it could be a cotton ramie blend, and the garment is unlined with no itch.
the sweater is untagged but it fits like womens size medium or large depending on desired draping. in great vintage condition with light discoloration and minor fraying in the knit.
