this is a lovely vintage dress by French designer BHATTI Paris from the 90s or early 2000s – I love the sheer ruffled hem and how it gives the dress layers! the black dress features a soft scoop neckline with adjustable spaghetti straps, a frilly ruffled asymmetric midi hemline, and a flattering and fitted silhouette (fabric has some stretch). there are thoughtful details such as eyelet embroideries all over the dress, lace detailing around the neckline, and darting around the bust (which has no padding, boning or bra cups). the fabric is believed to be a nylon blend with spandex for some stretch, and the garment is lined. kindly note that the dress has been styled with a belt in the photos, but the belt is not included.
size is untagged but I would say this best fits adult womens size small or more fitted on size medium. in great vintage condition with some marks, light discoloration around the adjustable straps, and light fraying.
measurements (lying flat): pit to pit (bust): 14.5” across (29” when doubled) waist: 13-13.5” across (26-27” when doubled) – but has stretch hips: 14-15” across
